The fee for accompanying person includes participation at the Reception and at a City Sightseeing on August 24.
Currency Exhange
All Norwegian banks and major post offces exhange foreign currency. Currency exchange offces are also located at Bergen Airport Flesland and at the train station.
Language
English. No simultaneous translation.
Credit Cards
The use of credit cards is widespread in Norway, and they are accepted almost everywhere.
Eurocard, MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Diners Club are the most common. It is a good idea to check with your credit card company about the
degree of acceptability and available services before you leave home.
Note that most food stores however only accept debit cards.

Conference Venue
The congress venue is located at the Bergen concert hall; Grieghallen. The Grieg Hall is named after the famous Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, and shaped like an enormous grand piano.
This splendour is located in the very heart of Bergen, right next to the city park.

Hotels
Your choice of accommodation varies from guesthouse to hotel standard, the latter including breakfast and ensuite facilities, and rates varying from NOK 600 (aprx.€75) to NOK 1300 (aprx.€160) per night for a single room.

All hotels are within a walking distance to Grieghallen.
VISA information
Many foreign citizens need a visa to visit Norway. All information related to visa can be found at Norwegian Directorate for Immigration (UDI).

Invitational letter
If you require a visa please contact Kongress & Kultur at media@kongress.no in good time before the conference.
Kongress & Kultur will provide you with the invitational letter required for the Norwegian visa application.

Please note that documentation requirements vary from country to country and are subject to change. Separate rules apply to foreign nationals for whom a visa is required and who come under the EEA agreement or the EFTA convention.
The application must be submitted in person at the nearest Norwegian Foreign Service mission. In some cases, applications may be sent to Norway for processing by the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration.
If your application is processed at a Norwegian Foreign Service mission, it normally takes around two weeks before you receive a reply to your application. If your application is forwarded to Norway and the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration, the processing time will be longer.
